There is NO requirement to forward a prescription when ordering. There is NO online consultation required. Use Canesten Vaginal Tablets are used to treat recurrent candidiasis (yeast infections). Canesten's anti-mycotic and fungicidal properties are able to relieve the itching and discomfort associated with candidiasis. Dosage Each tube contains exactly 6 doses of cream. The cream is applied by filling the applicator with the cream and inserting the applicator into the vagina and releasing the cream. The cream is usually applied once daily but can be applied twice daily if required for up to 6 days in total. Side effects Some people find that localized irritations or burning sensations occur after using Canesten. These side effects are usually mild and the patient should not be concerned. Other people have reported lower abdominal cramping and increased urine output after taking Canesten. Precautions It is not usually recommended for use during the first 3 months of pregnancy.
