Use
Mycostatin is an anti-fungal medication, primarily for the treatment of oral or intestinal yeast infections. However your doctor may prescribe this medication for the treatment of other conditions.

Dosage
For the treatment of most fungal conditions, you will be prescribed 1 or 2 tablets, 3 times daily for up to 5 days. However you should only use Mycostatin oral tablets as directed by your doctor. You are advised to keep taking Mycostatin for the prescribed period of time to avoid reinfection.

Side effects
The occurrence of side effects after taking Mycostatin is considered to be rare. However some people may experience diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea or vomiting. .
